Help Rotary with Licensed Rotary Merchandise

The Rotary emblem, annual theme logos, and many other marks are official registered property of Rotary International. The manufacturing of merchandise with these marks is covered by licensing agreements.

Part of the licensing agreement with Rotary International requires a
royalty payment based on the selling price of the items. Obtaining
merchandise with the Rotary marks form non-licensed manufacturers not only is a violation of Rotary's policies but shorts Rotary International these funds.

Additional information may be obtained a document entitled

DID YOU KNOW THAT THE NAME "ROTARY" AND THE
ROTARY EMBLEM ARE REGISTERED TRADEMARKS?

which is available on the Rotary International website.

The second paragraph under "ROTARY EMBLEM MERCHANDISE" states:

"Any individual or company wishing to sell goods containing the Rotary name, the Rotary Emblem or any of the other Rotary Marks (all collectively referred to as "Rotary Emblem Merchandise"), including those companies that manufacture the goods, must be licensed by RI. Rotary clubs or districts should only buy merchandise bearing the Rotary Emblem or other Rotary Marks from individuals or companies that are licensed by RI. A list of Official Licensees is published annually in the RI Official Directory and on the “Shop” Web page of www.rotary.org. Please report non-licensed vendors selling Rotary Emblem to the Licensing Section."

Licensed vendors are required to display their license number on all marketing materials and are encouraged to display the Official Licensee logo. For example www.MyClubSupply.com proudly displays Rotary Licensee 08-4A0831.

Help Rotary International by buying Rotary merchandise only from official licensed vendors.
